Back Story

Some Digital Monster Card Game promotional material, such as the flyer pictured on right, provides the following Back Story narrative for Booster 14. It focuses on the nature of Dukemon: Crimson Mode, and includes a teaser for the concepts of Hybrid Digimon and Legendary Spirits which would debut later that year (also hinting at a connection between them and Dukemon: Crimson Mode).
