A Megadramon was imprisoned in the cloudy mechanical plane of the Digital World. However, Makino Ruki, Shiota Hirokazu and Kitagawa Kenta accidentally freed him by fixing a jammed clock. He tried to kill Renamon (who evolved to Kyubimon but was overwhelmed) to be able to absorb her data and enter the Real World, but was defeated by the surprise appearance of Akiyama Ryo and Cyberdramon.

A Megadramon appears briefly in Digimon Adventure: - Episode 20. It stops Yagami Taichi, Greymon, Ishida Yamato, and Garurumon from chasing Velgrmon. Leomon and Peckmon stay to fight it while the Chosen Children go on. It was defeated by Leomon and Peckmon after a difficult battle.

Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01[edit]
Saiba Neo owned a Megadramon, which he created by Jogressing a Cockatrimon and a Kuwagamon. It fought Yagami Taichi and Zeromaru, but even though Neo used a technique of infinitely Jogressing and Partitioning to constantly heal it, it couldn't overpower Zeromaru. On the brink of defeat, Neo Jogressed Megadramon with a Jyureimon to create Deathmon.
Ryo's Story![edit]
Before Akiyama Ryo met the Tamers, in the desert plain on the Digital World, Ryo and Cyberdramon fought Megadramon. With Ryo hiding behind a rock, Cyberdramon hit Megadramon with his Cyber Nail while telling them to bully a Digimon who could fight back instead of destroying defenceless villages. Megadramon told him that no one could defeat them and shot a cliff with their Darkside Attack (Genocide Attack), causing an avalanche to fall on top of Ryo. Cyberdramon blocked the avalanche with his body, causing both of them to be buried, while Megadramon took the chance to leave while laughing.
After Cyberdramon rescued himself and Ryo from the avalanche, Ryo got on Cyberdramon's back and they flew away to find and get revenge on Megadramon, who they found as he was destroying a Mushmon village, and immediately slashed them then shot them with a beam from his hand, finally defeating them.

Megadramon appears as an obtainable Perfect-level Virus type Digimon in Digimon World.
Megadramon serves as the second boss of the Infinity Mountain. Located in the middle of its room, it's an optional boss that can be entirely avoided, although it does block the way to some item monitors. When approached, it will stay quiet and do nothing, and the Player is given the option to walk back or start a battle. Upon defeat, it quietly joins the Village of Beginnings. It stands outside of Greymon's Battle Arena not doing anything other than bragging, although it does become unlocked as a possible opponent in the tournaments.
Tyranomon, Devimon, Airdramon and Seadramon can all evolve into Megadramon, by meeting the following criteria:
- At least 3000 HP, 5000 MP, 500 Offense, 300 Defense, 400 Speed and 400 Brains stat requirements
- Less than 10 Care Mistakes
- A Weight between 50 to 60g
- Bonus conditions: Battle more than 30 times and have at least 30 different techniques mastered.
Megadramon's evolution item is the Mega Hand (Japanese: メガハンド) which lets any Adult Digimon evolve into Megadramon.
Megadramon is one of the few Perfect Digimon that can evolve; in this case, it (as well as Metal Greymon) can become Skull Greymon via Death Evolution. There is a 10% chance of it evolving this way immediately after recovering from a lost battle, so it's recommended to save before making an attempt.

Megadramon is an obtainable Level Perfect Darkness Card with 1810 HP, 920 Circle Attack, 290 Triangle Attack, 300 Cross Attack with First Attack effect. Its Support Effect damages both players' Digimon by halving their HP.
Pocket Digimon World[edit]
Megadramon can be evolved from Birdramon, Centalmon, or Meramon. It can evolve further into Mugendramon.
Digimon World 2[edit]
Megadramon can be evolved from Cyclomon with 0+ JP and Deltamon with 0-5 JP. However, Megadramon itself cannot evolve to any Ultimate-Level Digimon. Its Signature Technique is Genocide Attack, which prevents the target Digimon from healing their HP for that turn.
Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers[edit]
Megadramon is an obtainable Digimon that appears during the last stages of Millenniumon. It evolves from Guardromon (with Digimental) as well as Mechanorimon or Cyclomon (without Digimental) and can evolve further into Mugendramon with high Jogress Points or Millenniumon with very high Jogress Points. Its Signature Technique, Genocide Attack, is a Technique that has raises the user's AP gradually when it is attacked.

Megadramon is an obtainable Digimon that appears as the mini-boss Digimon in the third room of Gear Field and later used by a Tamer in D1 Tournament Grade 1 (Taichi stage). It evolves from Guardromon (with Digimental) as well as Mechanorimon or Cyclomon (without Digimental) and can evolve further into Mugendramon with high Jogress Points or Millenniumon with very high Jogress Points. Its Signature Technique, Genocide Attack, is a Technique that has raises the user's AP gradually when it is attacked.
Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]
Megadramon appears as the second to last opponent in Steep Road's Battle Arena, replacing Gigadramon as the last opponent only for the first time. It calls the player a shrimp in the Battle Café, looking down on him before opening the Battle Arena. It keeps looking down on the player once he reaches it in the Battle Arena, where it plays the Mega Shock deck, a deck with 4 attack, 2 defense and 2 evolution speed, and which is purely destructive. Upon being defeated, it tells the player to leave, with the player demanding the Passcode as he beat it. However, Megadramon reveals that it is not the Battle Master, Gigadramon is. The Battle Arena ends at this point, with the player getting no rewards.
Megadramon is also an obtainable Level Perfect Black/Darkness Card whose stats are:
